In explaining our technology solutions and telling our corporate story, EarthRenew has borrowed words and phrases from science, business and engineering – and we’ve coined a few new ones of our own.

For your convenience, the following glossary explains these words and phrases.

"$" or "dollars" means Canadian dollars.
"as applied basis" means soil products as applied with moisture and debris as found in the field (not on a dry basis).
"CO2" means carbon dioxide.
"DCF" means discounted cash flow.
"Director" means a director of EarthRenew.
"EarthRenew", "we", "our" or "us" means, unless the context otherwise requires, EarthRenew Corporation and its subsidiaries.
"EPA" means the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
"GHG" means greenhouse gas.
"GHGe" means greenhouse gas emissions.
"green wastes" means food production wastes, yard trimmings, agricultural wastes including rice husks, off-spec eggs and shells, excess and spoiled foods, peels and other inedible portions.













"Hosts" means the owners or operators of sites where our WasteRenew™ Facilities are located or intended to be located.
"MWh" means megawatt hour.
"MW" means megawatt.
"NASS" means the United States National Agricultural Statistics Service.
"NOX" means nitrogen oxide.
"NPV" means net present value.
"spark spread" means the revenue received from electricity sales less the cost of the fuel used to generate that electricity.
"USDA" means the United States Department of Agriculture.
"US$" means United States dollars.
"WasteRenew™ Facility" means one of our organic waste conversion WasteRenew™ Facilities.
