We have developed proprietary concentrated organic matter products in formulations of 50% to 85% bundled organic matter fertilizers and micro nutrients, on an as applied basis, in a dense granule.
Markets for Organic Matter Fertilizer™ products:
- Organic agriculture
- Conventional farming
- Land repair
- Turf, parks and golf courses
SoilRenew™ Multiple Markets for Our Products
Organic nitrogen is inherent in our proprietary fertilizer products which also have varying amounts of other nutrients: phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, iron, calcium and other micro nutrients. Of these nutrients, organic nitrogen is the most essential nutrient for plant growth and the fertilizer most often sought by farmers. Our products contain concentrated organic matter which has significant benefits to soils and crop yields.
Our SoilRenew™ products are highly concentrated organic matter bundled with organic, slow release nutrients in a granular form that provide an economic advantage by outperforming current practices for all our customers including organic and conventional farmers, those in care of turf and land repair.
The range of Organic Matter Fertilizer™ products provide our customers an economic advantage by outperforming current soil management practices and eliminating risks and inefficiencies. One of our WasteRenew™ Facilities can supply sufficient Organic Matter Fertilizer™ products annually for approximately 4,000 acres of intensive or organic farming; 4,000 acres of land repair or reclamation and remediation activity; 10,000 acres in parks, turf and golf courses; or 15,000 acres in grain crops.
Licensing or Joint Venture or Alliances
We are seeking licensing arrangements or joint venture or alliances with recognized entities with complementary capabilities and industry knowledge to rapidly commercialize in these areas
- Achieving the same performance as chemical fertilizers, as proven in research trials.
- Providing for the first time organic farmers with yields equivalent to conventional practices;
- Increasing fertilizer performance by holding nutrients at the root zone for longer period of time and easier plant uptake;
- Utilizing slow release properties providing a supply of nutrients over the growing cycle;
- Eliminating green cropping practices which take useful land out of production;
- Rebuilding soils by adding concentrated Organic Matter Fertilizer™ products with follow on yield benefits in the next one to two crops; and
- Providing a weather buffer in times of drought or too much rain through the addition of concentrated organic matter.
- Increasing fertilizer efficiencies;
- Reducing cost of multiple applications of fertilizers;
- Cost of multiple applications of chemical fertilizers;
- Reducing handling and transportation costs associated with application of heavy manure or biosolids for organic matter input (if such materials are available); and
- Replacing chemical nitrogen with organic nitrogen without sacrificing productivity.
- Eliminate pathogens including Salmonella, E. Coli and Giardia which can cause food borne illness, a significant risk to agricultural producers. The application of manures and biosolids as organic matter fertilizers are considered high risk practices for the spread of food borne illness;
- Deactivate weed seeds, eliminating an expensive problem associated with the use of manure or green cropping. Manure contains weed seeds, the spread of which is a significant problem because the resulting weeds must be removed, typically by the use of herbicides for conventional agriculture or by manual removal for organic farmers, with significant expense in either case. Green cropping also risks seed contamination or regrowth of the crop;
- Destroy chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics and steroids. The high heat of our cooking process breaks down chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics and steroids. The use of manure, biosolids and green wastes, which often contain pesticides, as organic matter fertilizers creates the risk of contamination of the soil and the crops growing thereon with chemicals and genetically modified organisms found in the input manure.
- Reducing nitrogen and phosphorus run off into waterways by holding nutrients in the soil; and
- Lowering environmental impact by sequestrating carbon using our unique highly concentrated organic matter plus organic nitrogen and other organic nutrients plus an array of micronutrients
Because we control the inputs at our WasteRenew™ Facilities, our SoilRenew™ products can be customized for specific soils, crops, weather and local climatic conditions; are easy to store, transport and apply; and provide a one-time application solution per crop cycle.
Customers of our products usually take delivery of the dry products at our WasteRenew™ Facility. Due to our distributed production, the majority of our customers will be within a one day trucking distance of our WasteRenew™ Facilities thereby reducing transportation costs inherent in longer delivery distances.
