Our need for an efficient, cost effective process to convert manure, biosolids and green wastes into Organic Matter Fertilizer™ products led us to discover and patent the direct application of exhaust heat from a turbine to our cooking process.
We recognized the broad applicability of these energy-efficient technologies at an early stage and extended our patent coverage to a wide range of uses. These patents, along with significant know-how we’ve acquired through years of experience, provide us with attractive licensing opportunities.

Patent Coverage
EarthRenew has more than 2,200 patent claims worldwide. Our patent coverage includes:
- Equipment, processes, products, process control systems and other aspects of the commercial implementation of converting manures, biosolids and other green wastes into unique fertilizer products;
- Energy-efficient thermal desalination enabled by our technologies to produce fresh water and to reclaim contaminated water;
- Use of our technologies to recover and reclaim water and soils from tailing ponds in, for example, oil sands operations, mining operations and coal processing operations, thereby providing tremendous environmental benefits in an energy-efficient manner not previously possible;
- Integration of EarthRenew technologies into biogas, biodiesel, ethanol and other biofuels operations to solve waste issues and provide greatly improved energy efficiency; and
- Application of our technologies to mitigate the algae bloom (“dead zone”) problem in nutrient-enriched waters.
